AppDelete is a program that removes system files associated with the applications you send to the Trash. To use AppDelete, simply drag and drop the program onto the icon located to the left of the program window. AppDelete will then automatically begin the deletion process.
If you would like to see a log of the files that AppDelete has removed, click on the Log button within the program. The log will display the files that have been deleted as well as their original location.
In addition to AppDelete, there are other similar tools such as AppTrap and AppZapper. AppTrap is a free tool that automatically removes files without the need to manually open the program. On the other hand, AppZapper is a shareware version that allows for up to five uses before requiring a license.
It is important to note that these tools are compatible with Mac OS X 10.3 or higher.
